The Big Ten has been following the theme of the year: chaos. Every team except Ohio State, that is. Two weeks into the Big Ten’s 2020 season and five teams remain undefeated. That list includes Northwestern, Indiana and Purdue. Meanwhile, Penn State, Iowa and Minnesota are 0-2. Yes, 2020 is a hell of a drug. But this is reality. Punches were thrown and three players were ejected during a brawl between Florida and Missouri players as both teams made their way to the locker room for halftime of Saturday night's game. Defensive lineman Zachary Carter and linebacker Antwuan Powell were ejected for Florida, while Missouri linebacker Tre Williams was also disqualified. Florida quarterback Kyle Trask took a late hit from defensive lineman Drajan Jeffcoat on the last play of the half, which seemed to fuel the fight that followed. After order was eventually restored and the two sides made it to their respective locker rooms, Florida coach Dan Mullen encouraged the home crowd on his way to the tunnel, eventually returning to the field for more pump-up material. The upset marks Oklahoma State's first loss of the season, and the Longhorns' first road win over a top-10 team since 2010.. With just 22 seconds left in overtime, Oklahoma State lined up on the 12 yard line, hoping to match Texas' touchdown and push it to double overtime.  That is until the offensive line collapsed.  Texas chased quarterback Spencer Sanders and sacked him close to the 25-yard-line, marking an end to the game. The Longhorns stunned No. 6 Oklahoma State with a 41-34 victory, giving OKSU its first loss of the season and topping off a shocking night in Stillwater, OK. Earlier that evening, Oklahoma State displayed yellow lines on its video board during Texas' field goal attempt in late in the second quarter . The true freshman QB had an impressive starting debut, but the stakes will be even higher next week. So far, so very good for D.J. Uiagalelei. But the next challenge is so very big. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Saturday after his team’s 34–28 comeback victory over Boston College that star quarterback Trevor Lawrence won’t play next week at Notre Dame . That will be his second straight missed game after testing positive for COVID-19 Thursday. And that means the showdown of top-five teams in South Bend will be the second collegiate start for Uiagalelei, the five-star freshman from California. His first start was pretty spectacular: 30 of 41 passing for 342 yards and two touchdowns, plus another touchdown rushing. Uiagalelei’s rocket arm, athleticism and poise were all on display against the Eagles, as he led Clemson back from an 18-point deficit—the largest home comeback in school history. “It shows he has the heart of a champion,” said Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott

The Spartans' victory makes Mel Tucker only the program's second coach to win his debut vs. Michigan. Michigan State football (1-1) pulled off a close upset over rival No. 13 Michigan (1-1) on Saturday, snagging a 27-24 road victory and taking home the Paul Bunyan trophy.  The Spartans were coming off a 38-27 loss to Rutgers last week, while the Wolverines had a commanding 49-24 victory over Minnesota. Coming into the matchup, MSU was a 22-point underdog.  Michigan State receiver Ricky White led the way with 196 receiving yards against Michigan, becoming the only player with more single-game receiving yards in this rivalry series history is Sparty's Plaxico Burress (255 in 1999). The Spartans had an early edge, tallying the first touchdown, and never lost the lead. Boston College wide receiver CJ Lewis had one of the catches of the year in the Eagles' first-half surge against Clemson. The action started with the Eagles' incredible fake field goal on 4th-and-2 to draw Clemson offsides. The Tigers called a timeout before Boston College's Phil Jurkovec connected with Lewis on an insane 18-yard touchdown pass.  After a Clemson defender nearly knocked the ball from Lewis's hands, he bobbled it and managed to scoop it up before it fell to the ground.  Boston College placekicker John Tessitore's role in drawing Clemson offsides was crucial to the sequence leading to the score, and his father—ABC broadcaster Joe Tessitore—was ecstatic to call the moment. The Tigers were already scared by the Eagles' dominant performance on Halloween, but the end of the second quarter will certainly have them spooked.

Peters will be sidelined until Nov. 21 due to COVID-19 protocols. Illinois will face Purdue on Saturday without starting quarterback Brandon Peters, who has tested positive for COVID-19. The Illini announced on Saturday morning that Peters and redshirt freshman tight end Griffin Moore returned positive tests. "Several other players" will also be sidelined this weekend and next week against Minnesota due to contract tracing. Moore and Peters will miss 21 days due to Big Ten protocols and be eligible to return on Nov. 21 against Nebraska.  Peters went 8-for-19 for 87 yards with zero touchdowns in Illinois's season-opening loss to Wisconsin. The news of Illinois's two positive cases comes shortly after Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez announced the Badgers' COVID-19 outbreak has grown to 22 cases. Athletic director Barry Alvarez provided an update on ESPN's College GameDay  on Saturday morning and said the program has 22 positive COVID-19 tests. The results include 10 staff members and 12 players. "So we are still having additions in our cases, and that's something we have to get our arms around and control of," Alvarez said, per Saturday Tradition . He added that the Badgers are evaluating their upcoming game against Purdue on Nov. 7 and will make a decision on their Week 3 status on Tuesday. If Wisconsin can't play Purdue, it will drop the team to a six-game schedule, which is the minimum needed to contend for the Big Ten championship. The league is playing an eight-game, conference-only schedule this fall and has no bye weeks to make up missed games. Steve Nash is reuniting with his former Phoenix Suns head coach. Mike D'Antoni and Ime Udoka are finalizing contracts to become assistant coaches on Steve Nash's staff with the Nets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. D'Antoni coached Nash on the Phoenix Suns from 2004-08 and then from 2012-14 with the Lakers. Last month, D'Antoni told the Rockets that he would not be returning as head coach next season. He finished his four years in Houston with a 217–102 record. Udoka has spent time as an assistant on Gregg Popovich's coaching staff with the Spurs. Nash already has former Suns teammate Amar'e Stoudemire on his staff as an assistant coach focusing on player development. Jacque Vaughn, who served as the Nets' interim head coach during the NBA restart in Orlando, was retained as an assistant when Nash was hired in September. The upcoming season will mark Nash's first season as an NBA coach.

Beasley was charged Thursday in Hennepin County District Court with threats of violence and drug possession. His wife, Montana Yao, was charged with a felony drug count. According to a criminal complaint, a couple on a Parade of Homes tour last month with their 13-year-old child pulled up to the Plymouth home rented by Beasley and Yao, but saw it was roped off. Beasley tapped on the window of the family’s SUV, pointed a rifle at them and told them to get off his property, prosecutors said. Beasley continued to train the rifle at the SUV as it drove off, the criminal complaint said. Police said they searched Beasley and Yao’s home and found a 12-gauge shotgun
